Volunteering with us offers a unique opportunity to support the rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming of Border Collies in need. Whether you’re an experienced dog owner or new to canine care, there’s a role for everyone who shares our love for these incredible dogs.

Volunteer Opportunities
We offer a variety of volunteer roles to suit your skills, interests, and availability: Dog Care opportunities are always available, others are as required at the time
- Dog Care Assistants: Help with feeding, grooming, cleaning kennels, and walking the dogs to ensure they stay happy and healthy.
- Enrichment Volunteers: Provide mental stimulation and training through games, activities, and socialization to prepare the dogs for rehoming.
- Fundraising & Events: Assist with planning and running events to raise vital funds and awareness.
- Administrative Support: Help with office tasks, social media, and outreach efforts.
- Maintenance & Groundskeeping: Support our team by maintaining our facilities and ensuring our rescue environment is safe and welcoming.
What We’re Looking For
- Compassion and Patience: Many of our Collies come from challenging backgrounds and need extra understanding.
- Commitment: Even a few hours a week can make a big difference.
- Enthusiasm: A love for dogs and a willingness to help however you can.
- Team Spirit: Volunteers are a vital part of our Trust family, working closely with staff and fellow helpers.
How to Apply
Becoming a volunteer is simple!
- Fill Out Our Volunteer Application Form: Provide us with some details about yourself and your availability. Please complete our online volunteering form to apply.
- Meet Our Team: We’ll invite you to visit our rescue centre to learn more about the role and meet our team (and the dogs!).
- Start Volunteering: After a brief induction, you’ll be ready to make a real difference!
